The Atelier Studio

The Science Behind the Smile.

Above Rodeo Drive, behind a private door, lives a ceramics lab and digital engineering suite where every Aurelia case is born.

Instruments of
Absolute Precision.

Every instrument in the Atelier was selected for a single reason: it is the best of its kind on earth. We operate on the principle that superior results require superior tools — no exceptions.

Capability Tolerance
3D Facial Scanning ±0.01mm
Porcelain Veneer Thickness 0.3mm
Kiln Temperature Precision ±1°C
CAD/CAM Milling Accuracy ±0.005mm
Shade Matching Spectrum 24-bit

Station 01

3D Intraoral Scanning

Our 3Shape TRIOS 5 scanner captures a complete digital model of your dentition in under 90 seconds — accurate to 0.01mm, with full-colour surface texture capture for the ceramicist's reference.

Station 02

The Ceramicist's Hand

Master ceramicist Jacques Leroy — trained in Limoges, France — hand-layers each veneer using the powder-liquid brushing technique. Up to 14 individual firings per piece. No mill can replicate this.

Station 03

Precision Kiln Firing

Our Ivoclar Programat CS4 kiln fires to 960°C with ±1°C variance. Temperature uniformity is the difference between a veneer that lasts ten years and one that lasts a lifetime.

Station 04

Digital Smile Design Suite

On a calibrated 4K display, Dr. Marchand and the client co-design the final smile together — adjusting tooth length, width, colour, and gum line in real time before a single tooth is prepared.

Station 05

Spectrophotometric Shade Matching

We measure existing tooth translucency, fluorescence, and undertone using a Vita Easyshade V5 spectrophotometer — capturing 24-bit colour data invisible to the human eye — ensuring neighbouring teeth are indistinguishable from restorations.
